I created this project using digital fabrication skills and techniques. The organic pattern on top was generated using Rhino and a Grasshopper Code. I really enjoy the form, as it reminds me of a topographic landscape, but was created very digitally through code. I used a 3D printer to make the top and the used a reclaimed barn wood to offset the more rigid structure. I then lined it with LED lights. I would love to expand on this in the future, mapping real mountain ranges for educational puposes.
